Busnet is a computer club, set up in Busselton, Western Australia, in 1998, originally for the 'over 55s' who wished to learn about and use computers. Since then the club has expanded its base to include younger people who wish to access a helping hand free of age restrictions.
The main purpose of the club is to provide easy understanding of today's technology for its members. We work with computers, iPads and tablets, scanners, printers, digital cameras and related devices.
As members' experience grows, we hope that each will be happy to assist others - a kind of 'buddy system' that would always be informal and a matter of personal choice. So far, this networking has worked very well, and is a great way to give and receive assistance. Be part of this exciting concept of helping others to learn. Join now and get with IT!
Busnet Computer Club now have five technical members to assist with all aspects of computing including desktops, laptops, tablets, phones and printers. Your technical assistants are Bill Whipp, Peter Quinby, Jake Challis, Tony Hill and Peter Ralph. Any enquiries regarding assistance can be made to Peter Ralph. Our April coffee morning at the Senior Citizens Cafe 55 is on Friday, the 11th of April at 10.30. |
